1. Please inform us of your planned arrival time one day in advance so that we can schedule receiving you here, as we do not have a reception desk.

2. The gate closes at 9:00 p.m. and opens at 6:00 a.m. These opening and closing times reflect the daily routine of rural life out in the countryside. In exceptional cases, our Caretaker would let you in up to 10:00 pm, if you inform us well in advance.

3. Please switch off lights when not in use, especially on the walkways and in the trees in the evening before going to bed, in order to conserve energy.
 
4. Conserve water when possible.
 
5. Kindly walk on the stepping stones since the grass is delicate and will wither quickly if walked on.
 
6. Please supervise your children in the swimming pool. No lifeguard on duty. Kindly use proper bathing attire.
 
7. Feel free to use your radio and video'ke but kindly keep the volume down and observe local sleeping time at around 10:00 pm.
 
8. If you use the charcoal grill, kindly make sure no Fire Hazard is being created, especially if it is windy.
 
9. Strictly no drugs.
 
10. Please wash your dishes and store them in the dish organiser before leaving for an excursion, or in the evening before going to bed in order to avoid attracting animals or insects. Put all garbage in the garbage bin and close the lid properly.
 
11. Keeping the room and surroundings clean and orderly is the responsibility of the guests during their stay. Cleaning materials are provided. Intermediate cleaning can be arranged on request for a fee.

12. Your rooms have been sprayed against mosquitoes before your arrival. If screen doors and windows are kept closed, no mosquitoes or other insects will come inside. Where needed, just ask the caretaker for more mosquito spray. Mosquito coils (Katol) are available for outside use. You are out in the countryside, and insects are at home here too.

Important Things to Know

1. Although there are 97 steps to be climbed, and this sounds like a big undertaking, in actual fact it is not a big deal, since you can rest at different points on the stairway, and our Caretakers will assist with carrying your luggage and equipment. The reward when you reach the top is worth it.
