Using Public Transportation

Overview

There are four steps involved in getting from the airport to our property - taxi, long-distance bus, jeepney and tricycle.

• Taking a taxi from the airport to the bus terminal

From any of the 4 NAIA Terminals, take a public taxi or, better still, call a Grab Taxi. (Grab is enormously popular and readily available in the Philippines).

• Taking a long-distance bus to Balanga Terminal

There are 2 main bus companies serving our region, namely Bataan Transit and Genesis, each of which operates from various terminals in Metro Manila. The closest bus terminal to the airport is the Genesis Terminal in Pasay at EDSA corner Taft Avenue. Another option would be the Five Star Bus Terminal in Cubao from where the Bataan Transit leave. In both cases, take buses with the final destination "Balanga Terminal". Just board the bus and take a seat. Tickets are sold when the bus is in motion. Some buses offer free wifi connection; some buses can be cold, so we recommend bringing a jacket; and some buses may screen videos or films which can be loud, so take earplugs or earphones. Get off at Balanga Bus Terminal. Bus fare is approximately Php 250 - 300 per person. 
The bus trip takes around 2 - 5 hours.

• Taking a jeepney to Bagac

Enquire at Balanga Bus Terminal which jeepney is going to Bagac. Ask anybody. Everybody speaks English and everybody will help you. The jeepney/bus trip costs around Php 60 per person and takes about 40 minutes. 

• Reaching the property

Tell the conductor/driver to let you off at "The Erpat Store". They know it. From there, we can pick you up by car if you let us know in advance. Alternatively, proceed to the final stop and take a tricycle. Tell the tricycle driver to drive you to Barangay Atilano Ricardo, pass by The Erpat Store and drop you off at "The German Place".
